In their first heydays, Pawtucket and Central Falls were two of the most densely populated cities in the US. Their strong sense of community pride fostered lasting cultural investments in architecture and art and gave rise to a unique sense of life lived in these cities. Much of that character remains, sometimes in hidden or overlooked corners and often front and center of the street scene. Robert Easton's masterful photographs capture unforgettable images of these cities.
