PREVIEW of SLATERSVILLE Documentary
(22 minutes)

SLATERSVILLE: AMERICA'S FIRST MILL VILLAGE is a historical documentary series that has been in production officially for several years. This 22-minute preview of the film is a work-in-progress, and it's being directed by award-winning Director Christian de Rezendes, who is also a native of Slatersville. It premiered in Belper, England - the birthplace of brothers Samuel Slater and John Slater - on July 13, 2019. This will be the U.S. Premiere of this preview. This preview highlights some of the major connections between England and U.S., from Belper to Pawtucket to Slatersville. Our goal is to complete this series, which will premiere in 2021 to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the Town of North Smithfield. To learn more visit www.firstmillvillage.com.
