The RI Blood Center will have its mobile unit at the festival both days.

 

The Pawtucket Library's Bookmobile will be at Slater Memorial Part Arts Fest 2010 on Sunday September 12th. The Bookmobile will inform the public on what materials and resources the Library can offer them to further promote their interest or education of the arts. Inside the vehicle, they will have a special display of a wide selection of circulating books on Art (and The Arts in general if we have the room). The Library will select a wide range of art books, including the history of art, modern art, art appreciation, the masters, etc. They also would include DVDs on Art and Artist Biographies and also the Art magazines we carry. The Library will present books that are appropriate for both adults and children. In addition to the materials on Art that patrons may borrow, they would like to offer an artistic craft for the younger kids to create on their visit to the bookmobile.
