Admission: $10.00 per person advanced purchase July 31 - August 31, $15.00 at the door– kids under 10 free. Music by Slippery Sneakers and Buckwheat Zydeco Band from 6-10:00pm. Buckwheat Zydeco
If you've seen a Buckwheat show, you know what to expect: rocking, stomping, good time Creole party music. If you haven't seen Buckwheat Zydeco live, you're missing one of the music world's most exciting and fun performers. This road warrior is constantly touring all over the country and the world. Slippery Sneakers
Slippery Sneakers has performed at nationally known Zydeco festivals all over the country, including almost every dance festival in New England, always to wide acclaim. Additionally, the band has routinely broken attendance records at many of the monthly Zydeco dances held around the region and also hosts a highly successful monthly dance and workshop in East Providence RI.
