Josh Fox is the founder and Artistic Director of International WOW Company. Born and raised above 96th Street, he spent the first 18 years of his life almost entirely on the island of Manhattan. Since graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Theater Arts, he has lived in four countries in Asia and traveled to 25 others throughout the world, creating and producing original international theater works in ten languages. Fox is in development on two feature films, A PLACE TO LIVE and QUIET, which are alternate visions of the future of his native New York City. He is also creating an epic multi-stage theater installation called SURRENDER with Iraq War veteran and MEMORIAL DAY collaborator Jason Hartley in which recently returned Gulf War Soldiers train the audience in combat techniques before raiding an installation full of actors.

In Memorial Day, Writer/Director/Actor Josh Fox and the International WOW Company blur the lines between documentary and feature film by staging a guerilla filmmaking assault on one of America's favorite drunken beach towns. With narrative and characters interspersed with the real world, the company creates a world where war is a party and a party is a war. Adapted from International WOW's 2004 site-specific theater piece "The Comfort and Safety of Your Own Home" (Top Ten of 2004"- NY Theater Wire), Memorial Day is a frightening look what Americans do when they're drunk, fired and posed for too many shots.
