Slater Mill Labor & Ethnic Heritage Festival

Presented by Hope Artiste Village, Working RI, and Slater Mill, rain or shine. An opportunity to celebrate the experiences, histories, music, artwork and food of the many cultures and communities that built and continue to build Rhode Island and the nation. Featuring music by Joyce Katzberg,  Santa Mamba and Tao Rodríguez-Seeger Band. All Children’s Theater will perform their award winning play “Mill Girls”. Arts and crafts, food vendors.

Pawtucket's own Otto D'Ambrosio and Zachary Martin join forces with Ben Pearce from the Outlier Workshop to create the RI luithier's power trio. These tree individuals will represent kindred disciplines of stringed instrument creation and restoration. This luithier's trio will stop carving wood for the day and exhibit their sonic wooden craft, in-conjunction with local acoustic performances on these one of a kind instruments.
